The Anchor Inn

THE ANCHOR INN is situated in the centre of the quaint Hampshire village of Lower Froyle, between Bentley and Alton.  A traditional English country pub - a rare breed today.  The bedrooms are nothing short of fabulous.  Andy Clark, the Head Chef offers a superb menu, there is a private dining room for corporate parties and functions and the beer and wine list are just perfect.  I thoroughly recommend a visit.  Perfect for the fly fisherman booking beats on our river Meon beat or for the river Itchen and Arle.  Or, miss the M3 and take the A31 to Stockbridge and stop halfway for a fine Anchor breakfast en route.
