Grayling tutorial on the river Test with Paul Procter and Howard Taylor
Sunday October 26th 2008.
The Day included fishing on 6 exclusive beats of the famous chalkstreams. Although we had some showers in the morning it was a very successful event with all of the eight anglers taking good grayling - the largest a little over the magical 2lbs!
The day featured:
Group tutorials on entomology
Effective river casts and casting
Use of the shrimp and killer bug
Pin pointing the take and bite indication
Drag free presentation techniques
Droppers, New Zealand style and Czech nymphing
Inducing a take
Locating grayling and river craft
