Grayling tutorial on the river Test with Paul Procter and Howard Taylor

Sunday October 26th 2008.

The Day included fishing on 6 exclusive beats of the famous chalkstreams. Although we had some showers in the morning it was a very successful event with all of the eight anglers taking good grayling - the largest a little over the magical 2lbs!

The day featured:

• Group tutorials on entomology
• Effective river casts and casting
• Use of the shrimp and killer bug
• Pin pointing the ‘take’ and bite indication
• Drag free presentation techniques
• Droppers, New Zealand style and Czech nymphing
• Inducing a take
• Locating grayling and river craft
