The beautiful river Anton beat at Upper Clatford. The Anton is a main tributary of the river Test celebrated for her crystal clear water and good head of wild trout. Bookings are restricted to a maximum of 2 days per week to rest the beat. Sight fishing the Upper Clatford beat is a joy where one can target both stocked and wild trout as well as the large grayling shoaling there. Better still the top section of the beat has a wading section from the weir to the upstream boundary. The beat offers over 1/4 mile of double bank fishing. There is a fishing hut and parking. Two rod bookings.
